Launching the Marine Social Science Research Group

The 26th of January 2023 sees the launch of the Marine Social Science Research Group (MSSRG). Our group, led by Dr Wesley Flannery, is based in the School of Natural and Built Environment at Queen's University Belfast. The group includes Professors, Research Fellows, PhD candidates and visiting researchers. We examine a wide-range of marine related topics and have an extensive publication library, all of which can be viewed on our website.
We will be regularly updating our website, adding new content and advertising publications and events, while our Twitter feed will post updates about the group's progress. On the website's homepage, you'll find out everything about the background of the group and what we hope to achieve over the next few years.
The website also presents extensive material regarding the current, previous and visiting members of MSSRG, as well information about the projects we are involved with and the publications linked to our key interests. Contact details are also available on the website, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions regarding the MSSRG.
We hope that our group can become a central component of the ever-expanding field of marine social science research. Through our website and social media, we also hope to be a platform for engagement and collaboration throughout the coming years.
